Post-surgical gem July 28, 2008 We purchased the duro-med elevating leg rest in an attmpt to make my daughter a bit more comfortable after spinal fusion surgery. This small purchase did more good than anything we tried- other pillows, different positions, etc. The pentagonal shape was perfect to put her legs and spine in a comfortable position. She wouldn't go anywhere in the house without it, and it helped ease her back pain whether lying down or sitting in a recliner. Very highly recommended.
Works as intended July 18, 2008 This product is good for under the knees, I think I may get a different one however...I need my lower leg elevated also. I thought I ordered the one for both...
Relieves stress on lower back April 21, 2008 If you need your legs propped, this is a good bet. It's firm, not squishy, so it doesn't sag. Not good if you only want a little elevation. Stays in place well too.
Leg Rest April 15, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
When the ad indicated that this product comes with a cotton cover, I assumed originally that's how it should come and by your stating "cotton cover" included that meant is an extra cover. so, I felt that was missleading.
Too high and not wide enough March 18, 2008 As another reviewer noted, this leg rest is not wide enough for the average adult. Just another 4 inches would make a difference, and I wish the manufacturer had had the foresight to know that. I also found it to be too high. I'm a short person and my feet were dangling. It would have been more comfortable if it weren't so high and my feet had touched the bed.
