Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The Snore Wizard Mouthpiece The Snore Wizard Mouthpiece is a simple and effective oral device for use in the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Made of special soft feel plastic it comes ready to use. There is no heating or moulding required to achieve a correct fit and you still continue to breathe through your mouth. The SnoreWizard moves the lower jaw slightly forward and holds the mouth slightly open. This improves the airflow at the back of the throat and eliminates snoring in most cases. The Snore Wizard was developed by a dental surgeon and the product has undergone numerous clinical trials in which it was found to reduce snoring and sleep apnea in 94% of research subjects. The Snore Wizard was designed to increase the space behind the tongue by bringing the lower jaw (mandible) forward, opening the airway in the throat and eliminating snoring. Why Most People Snore Normally air passes through the throat to the lungs silently and unhindered. In snorer's however, fatty tissue, tonsils and adenoids can narrow passageways, creating turbulence that makes the throat tissue vibrate. The problem can be exacerbated by excess body weight and/or excessive alcohol consumption prior to sleeping. Snoring has nothing to do with the nostrils. How To Best Prevent Snoring Snoring will not occur if the airway in the throat remains open. This can be accomplished by holding your lower jaw slightly forward during sleep. This is the exact reason that The Snore Wizard was invented. Snoring problems and the more severe form, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) are common problems found in many households. OSAS is the most well manifested form of snoring diseases in which the affected person stops breathing during sleep due to an obstruction of the airway passage towards the lungs. Due to sleeping problems the affected individuals perform day time activities at a very reduced level, which gives rise to a wide range of problems, both from a medical and a social behavioral point

4 out of 5 stars The Snore Wizard   January 8, 2009
I have been a very loud snorer for the past several years. I also stopped breathing several times during the night. I would wake up very tired in the morning because of the snoring. I decided to try the Snore Wizard after researching several similar products. It was uncomfortable at first and took me several days before I could wear the Snore Wizard all night. After the first night I was able to sleep with it, my husband couldn't believe how quietly I slept! The device takes some getting used to, but it very worth the time and produces instant results!! I have been able to sleep peacefully for the first time in years, waking refreshed with much more energy.

1 out of 5 stars DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!   December 4, 2008

I foolishly jumped into buying this product because I am so desperate to do something about my snoring. But I should have looked at other products -- check out Pure Sleep Tonight with Anti-Snore -- that are both cheaper and offer a money back guarantee. The Snore Wizard not only didn't work for me, but when I attempted to use it my jaw ached and my mouth produced so much excess saliva that I almost choked. And watch out for their "Due to hygiene reasons, this is a non-returnable product" clause under the Product Features heading. How convenient... for THEM. They keep my cash and I have a useless piece of plastic. DON'T BE LIKE ME. Don't buy the Snore Wizard.

1 out of 5 stars one size does NOT fit all   November 13, 2008

This product does mold to fit your teeth and jaw pattern. I found that it put unequal pressure on my teeth. Upon awakening, some of my teeth were sore. Eating hard toast hurt my teeth. An MD cautioned me about products such as this since they can affect your bite. Since this product does not mold to your teeth, you will not know if it will work for you. The kicker is that it is not returnable for "hygenic reasons." If the company really believes that their product will fit everyone comfortably, they would be willing to not hesitate to give refunds for appliances that do not fit comfortably.
