"Kindle edition" but no Cyrillics?.. August 27, 2010

It is nice to be able to receive this newspaper on my Kindle. The only thing I cannot understand is how they call this a "Kindle edition" when Kindle does not yet support Cyrillic font, which very often is used in this paper (almost every issue has some). It is frustrating and quite ridiculous to see little squares where Russian words should appear.

this is a free news paper in Moscow and frankly not a very good one. if you want news in Russia check out google.ru news, or the major news channels like ORT and RTR they have an English version and its great.

So, for $6.00 a month you get the convenience of one of Russia's best papers in terms of its editorial viewpoint (in English or in Russian) delivered to your Kindle Monday through Friday. Of course, everything you're paying for is free online at their website. It boils down to a question of how you prefer to get your news. . .

Its basically a good update of what happens in Russia, its one of the more independent newspapers in Russia. I reccomend it.
